350

The company that i worked for,Living Wing was part of the co sponsors of the event,
Save Our Waterfall...
The objective of the event is to clean up the waterfall and to support 350.org in the global day of climate action.
After collecting all the rubbish, putting it into the bag and form a number of 350.

So what does the number 350 means?

That's why glaciers and sea ice are melting, drought is spreading, and flooding is on the increase.
Isn't it sad to know that?

When i was at New Zealand, most of the houses or backpackers,
they have this recycle station, and a bucket for unwanted food kept for the pig.
Every household just have to do their own part...
It feels so good when you see people around have that spirit...

Last week when i was shopping with one of my friend,
Dorothy whom i met in New Zealand.
She brought her own shopping bag and said no to those plastic bag.
Well, it might not be as big as 'save the waterfalls',
but she did her own part.

Sometimes, you can't expect everybody to do the 'save the earth' thing...
But at least you can do your own part...
Because it does matters...

korea in the house

During the first few weeks after i came back from New Zealand...
Auntie Chin keeps on complain that i didn't buy much back home - something she likes...
especially the Arnott's biscuit...
She likes the biscuit a lot...
i accidentally told her that it's cheap over there,
with NZD 0.99 we can get the biscuit, but not in Malaysia...
i was like how am i gona squeeze the food into the luggage?

Till that day,
Auntie Chin came back from her 7 days Korea trip...
she brought her luggage, hand carry and a big carton box...
When i helped her unpack the stuff...
it was CRAZY....

From Cute magnets...

instant noodles....
She claims that those we bought are made from China,
these are proudly made from Korea...

Rice cake...

Kimchi....

Snacks and biscuits...

Korea Chocolates...

chewing gum...

the famous Ginseng...

as well as facial and beauty products...

She literally brought the whole Korea back home...

on top of everything,
she told me there is this Korean Photographer who travel together with them...
'he is tall and handsome...' Auntie Chin said...
She will try to get his email address and wants me to get to know him !!

OMGGGGGGGG....
beh tahannnnnnnn....

amigos en Malaysia

Got to know this bunch of friends from Chile during my stay at Alexandra, New Zealand.
Most of them has this plan to visit Asia after New Zealand...
So they work their ass off in order to have enough money to travel to Asia...

Felipe and Paulina were the first who 'came to me'...
after their stay at other places in South East Asia...

Brought them to have a look at our pasar malam...

and i let them try this Fatty Steamboat...
They can't take it...
For them, it's weird as they are not used to chewing food which is soft...

And i brought them to Mamak,
roti canai, mee goreng, roti tisu, teh tarik...
they like it !!

We even went to Pappa rich for some local Malaysian Delights...
met up with seen yee and may yee...
ordered Kuey teow,Hor Fun, Kaya Toast...
It was Okay for them...
But they can't take Nasi Lemak as they consider that too spicy...
Seen Yee ordered Cendol, thinking they might like it...
But surprisingly, they Don't like it at all...
They find it weird having sweet corn in it...

Seen Yee was kind enough to drop them back to their Hotel...
And we stopped by KLCC to have a look at the night view...
They were amazed...
But to me, it's just two tall jagungs... :P

*woot*
Thanks seen yee for this nice shot !
brilliant...

Brought them to my house,
and i gave Bongo to Felipe...
So that Bongo has the chance to travel to Chile before i do...

Me holding Larry...
It belongs to Felipe's friend...
She gave it to him for the time being,
So that Larry could travel together with him...
So far,Larry had traveled to Paris, New Zealand, Thailand, Cambodia and of course Malaysia...
damn it...
He been to more places than i do !

A decent shot of us in mi casa ...

They did a lot of talking with Auntie Chin...
from Chile to Buddhism and even Fish spa...

I find it hard to accept the fact that,
i don't know when will i be able to see them again...

one year ago

One year ago...

I was busy making my travel diary...

Busy packing my cloths...

getting the mood ready...

saying goodbye to friends and family...

leaving on a jet plane...

and stepping into the wonderland...

every single thing amazed me...

the blue blue sky...

the green green grass...

the scenery...

the new friendship...

i truly enjoyed every moment of it...
